Background

Art and languages have always been at the core of my life, be it in education, hobbies or career.
Both French and British, I studied in Nantes, France, and obtained a BA (Hons) in English and Spanish (translation, linguistics, civilisation, literature) and an MA (merit) in English<>French translation (with linguistics and British civilisation). I wrote my MA dissertation on J. M. W. Turner and the Industrial Revolution.
While working at Angel Row Gallery in Nottingham, I made valuable contacts in the arts, which led to occasional translation work for local art galleries. I now live in Bristol, a street art Mecca and a city with a vibrant art scene. Linguistic Alchemy® was launched in 2008.
Aside from my translation work, I volunteered at the Royal West of England Academy gallery from 2012 to 2018 and have a passion for photography. Feel free to browse my photography blog.
Psychology being my other main specialism, I completed a MOOC in social psychology (with distinction) with the Wesleyan University, USA, via Coursera in 2014.
